• Give a trusted family member or friend your credit card details in case it is stolen and has to be cancelled.
• Make sure the country or area you are travelling to accepts your type of credit card or travellers cheques.
• When using‚ any credit card overseas always keep it in sight - where you can see the merchant process your payment.
• When you return home, closely inspect your credit card statement for any incorrect charges.
